For those who don’t know: A vision board is essentially a physical (or digital) manifestation of your goals! Vision boarding involves collecting images, or objects that speak to the future you want to create for yourself!
How to make a vision board:
If you don’t want to use images, you could always write them, like the example below 👇
👉 If you’d like to create a digital board, here is one of Auntie Abs’ favourite apps (free to download from the App Store)
• Search “Shuffles by Pinterest” via the App Store
• You will need a Pinterest account to use this app, so if you don’t have one, create on for yourself! (And if you do, follow us on Pinterest: @Fabulous.Planning)
How to get started:
Before you start creating your vision board (whether it’s a physical one or digital one) you need to ask yourself:
✨ What do I want to invite/manifest into my life this year?✨
It can be a physical thing (for eg, buying a house) or it could be a personality trait (positivity or motivation etc)
👉 1. Once you’re clear on what you’d like to use your vision board for, you can hone in on some images and objects that represent your goal!
Whether it’s magazine clippings, photos, your favourite quotes or even your past recipes from previous holidays! The list is endless 🙌
👉 2. (Now for the fun part!) Start arranging your board with the images you have gathered, move things around until you feel inspired when you look at it!
The ultimate goal of vision boards, is that it brings you happiness and unleashes your creativity when you look at it! So if it makes you feel good, you’re on the right track!
👉 3. Find a place for your vision board: If you’ve opted for a physical board, hang it somewhere where you’ll see it regularly, perhaps in-front of your bedroom mirror? Or in the kitchen?
If you’ve opted for a digital board, save it as your screen wallpaper on your phone, or perhaps your desktop screen on your computer? As mentioned above, you could print out your digital board, and stick it inside your planner!
Ideas to get you started:
✨ Positivity - Magazine clipping that make you feel happy, a quote or affirmation that speaks to you or even quotes from your favourite songs!
💰 Financial - Whether you choose to stick money down onto your vision board, or draw monetary symbols!
🍂 Nature - You could incorporate feathers, dried leaves or even petals from previous flowers you’ve had
💘Love - You could incorporate quotes about love, or loving relationships/friendships or even a photo of yourself during a moment when you truly loved yourself!
🕊 Inner peace - Look for calming images, cool colours and quotes that soothe your soul! Things that bring you peace or a sense of calm when you look at them
The Law of Attraction:
Once you’ve created your vision board, here are some simple ways in which you can use it to amplify these goals into your reality! We’re talking, The Law of Attraction.
The Law of Attraction is a philosophy suggesting that positive thoughts bring positive results into a persons life, while negative thoughts bring negative outcomes.
Speak your vision board into existence: One of the powerful ways to use your board for manifesting is to look at it as you list the things you want to create in your life, out loud!
For example: “I want this year to bring me peace, love, abundance, positivity, uplifting moments and happy memories”
